Medical biochemical Laboratory

The medical biochemical Laboratory supports our medical services. Thalassotherapia Opatija follows medical trends and expands the areas in which it operates to provide complete health care in one place, consequently affecting the expansion of medical laboratory diagnostics.

Except for Thalassotherapia patients, analyses are performed at the request of general practitioners and for private patients.

Laboratory tests are performed:

Workdays from 7:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m
 

Note: no pre-order is required for laboratory tests.

Ms Jasmina Aničin, a specialist in medical biochemistry and laboratory medicine, is the head of the Laboratory Diagnostics Unit.

The excellence of the medical biochemical Laboratory is due to the expertise of the staff and top-notch equipment, all confirmed by an external quality assessment.

Medical biochemical and immunochemical analyses on the new CobasPro analyser (ISE, c503, e801) Roche Hitachi
Coagulation analyses on the Sysmex CA-600 analyser,
Analysis of the complete blood count on the Sysmex XN-550 analyser,
Chemical analysis of urine on the Cobas analyser in 411,
Analysis of acid-base balance in the acute Department on the Abbott i-STAT POCT device.
 

All laboratory analyses are included in the external quality control assessment programs: Croqalm and Rigas.

·         Based on a referral from the Croatian Health Insurance Fund (HZZO )

·         Private payment according to the conditions from the valid pricelist of Thalassotherapia Opatija
