Congress 'Science 4 health'

In September 2021, we organised and held the 1st Croatian Congress of preventive and sports medicine and cardiac rehabilitation with international participation - SCIENCE 4 HEALTH.

The Congress covered essential knowledge about lifestyle medicine, preventive and sports medicine, and cardiac rehabilitation. Furthermore, we presented the postgraduate specialist study in Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine in cooperation with the University of Rijeka. Furthermore, breaking the Guinness record for the longest underwater walk in one breath, two workshops on functional testing in sport and rehabilitation medicine, EKG in athletes and the Croatian Association of Cardiology Nurses program were also organised. In addition to speakers from Croatia, eminent world lecturers also participated in the meeting.

The medicine of the future must follow and use modern scientific achievements in the service of achieving and preserving human health. Health is a priority, and science is a tool with which we can achieve it. That is why we believe that it is our duty, as a leading medical institution in Croatia, to build platforms for cooperation between the scientific research community and experts from practice - and that is why we will continue to organise expert congresses that make a difference.
